I look down at the sidewalk, when I walk through Istanbul streets. A balancing act between rich and poor. The rich sit with their drinks on the roof gardens, the poor on the stairs.
I look down. Children. Children with their mothers. Children with handkerchiefs on sale for a lira. Children who ask for water. Shoecleaner. Children with fathers without leg. Children, sitting in the car smog. Children who may not be children. Children souls who have the desire to live like the others.
